One handy tip: To ensure that you have all the steps in front of you, we recommend you take a snapshot of this page with your phone and refer to the snapshot photo as you follow the six steps below.

  1. Click the Sign-up button at the very bottom of the page.
  2. This will open a new page with the instruction "Choose an account". You may use the email account shown at the top right. However, if that email address is your current private email address we strongly recommend you create another email address — it must be a Gmail address – and use this new address instead. Exit out of the Sign Up process if at this point you have not chosen a new Gmail address to use. Choose a new email address and then return here, click "use another account" and type in the new Gmail address and click Next.
  3. You then will be asked for the password for the Gmail account. Enter the password and click Next.
  4. You will be taken to a brief Google page that will tell you that aCabinet only keeps your name, email address and profile picture. You will be invited to review our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Hit Continue to go to the next page.
  5. The final page lists areas of your Gmail account – Gmail, Drive and Google Sheets – that are processed by aCabinet. Check the four blank checkboxes next to the top entries here. As mentioned above aCabinet does not store any information outside the scope of using the service. Then hit Continue.
  6. Now you have signed in! The screen in front is a blank Library screen, ready for you to upload some files, name them and assign categories.
Security Notice: Your password is never shared with our platform. Google handles all authentication directly for your safety.
